Human Resources in DCU offers a number of training courses open to and of benefit to non-academic research staff, including:
Buy back of pension years If you have had a previous temporary contract with Dublin City University, which was non-pensionable, you may buy back the years of this service for pension purposes by paying appropriate contributions. Also if you have had a previous temporary contract with another company which participates in the public service transfer network, DCU can investigate whether it's possible to reckon this service for pension purposes.
