Buy back of pension years
If you have had a previous temporary contract with Dublin City University, which was non-pensionable, you may buy back the years of this service for pension purposes by paying appropriate contributions. Also if you have had a previous temporary contract with another company which participates in the public service transfer network, DCU can investigate whether it's possible to reckon this service for pension purposes.
Please contact either Brenda Dempsey [brenda.dempsey@dcu.ie] ext 8707 or Patricia O'Sullivan [Patricia.OSullivan@dcu.ie] ext 5939

Maternity Leave:
Employees on fixed term contracts are entitled to maternity leave. Please contact your funding agency to obtain more information on your pay entitlements during maternity leave. DCU OVPR will represent your case with the relevant funding agency if further assistance is required.
